In the News: Kate Battiato Contributes to McKnight's Article on WisCaregiver Careers

Last week, VP of Media and Community Impact, Kate Battiato, contributed to an article appearing in McKnight's Senior Living covering the budget future of WisCaregiver Careers, the state's CNA and Certified Direct Care Professional workforce development program.

Since publication, the state budget was signed into law including $2 million to fund the program for the next two years. This is less than a quarter of the funds proposed by Gov. Tony Evers. We will be closely monitoring how the Department of Health Services proposed to use this more limited funding.

If you would be interested in sharing your experience with WisCaregiver Careers please contact Kate Battiato. We have an opportunity later this month to contribute to a McKnight's podcast on the topic.
